Delivery diagnosis

Find where itgot stuck

Don’t keep clicking resend. First confirm that your submission went through, then check the address, timing, and sender status.

Four checkpoints

Rule out each step in the delivery path

Answer one question at each step. When you find the first “no,” take the corresponding action.

  1. 1

Does the form clearly show that submission succeeded?

If the page still shows a validation error or payment is incomplete, the email usually hasn’t been triggered. Complete the required steps first instead of waiting for it in your inbox.

  2. 2

Does the address exactly match the one you’re using now?

Check every character before and after the @, including the domain. Copy and paste is more reliable than typing, especially when watching for trailing spaces.

  3. 3

Has the sender indicated a processing delay?

Instant verification codes may take up to ten minutes; manual reviews, ticket updates, and waitlist notifications can take longer.

  4. 4

    Is the address still active?

If the event hasn’t sent the email yet, extend the address first. If it has expired and can’t be restored, change the address or sign up again only if the organizer allows it.

Avoid triggering duplicates

Keep one clear path before resending

Repeated resends may trigger the sender’s rate limits and can cause multiple codes to arrive at different times, making it hard to tell which one is valid. Note the time after each action and wait at least as long as the stated delivery window.

If other emails arrive but one sender never delivers, contact the organizer with the sign-up time, page order number, and a redacted version of the address.

Keep refreshing

Your submission succeeded, the address is correct, and you’re still within a reasonable wait time.

Extend the address

The sender is taking longer to review, but the current address is about to expire.

Use an alias

You’ll need the email later for rescheduling, refunds, certificates, or account recovery.
